Terms
Plain-English baseline terms for the Ready? Check… Launch! website and service inquiries.
Starter policy — requires qualified legal review before paid launch.
This page is starter website policy language and is not a substitute for legal advice.
Informational website
The Ready? Check… Launch! website is provided for general information about productized engineering services. Website content is not legal, financial, security, compliance, or professional advice.
Services scoped by written agreement
Services are scoped by written agreement. The written scope, deliverables, timeline, pricing, confidentiality terms, access requirements, and acceptance criteria control the engagement.
Sensitive data prohibited in public intake
Clients must not submit secrets, tokens, passwords, API keys, private keys, webhook signing secrets, production credentials, raw cardholder data, database dumps, private customer records, PHI, children’s data, regulated data, confidential user-generated content, or sensitive production information through public forms or ordinary email.
Client responsibilities for safe access
The client is responsible for providing accurate metadata, avoiding prohibited submissions, rotating any accidentally exposed secrets, coordinating safe access, removing access after the engagement, and making product, legal, operational, and launch decisions.
Regulated/high-risk projects
Projects involving PHI, children’s data, regulated financial data, legal-client materials, government/defense data, safety-critical workflows, raw cardholder data, or other high-risk material require custom lawyer-reviewed scope before paid work.
No PCI/HIPAA/legal/compliance certification
Ready? Check… Launch! does not provide PCI certification, HIPAA compliance services, legal advice, privacy compliance certification, regulatory approval, or formal compliance certification.
No emergency guarantee
There is no emergency response guarantee unless explicitly agreed in writing. Emergency triage is subject to availability and written scope.
No guarantee of security or bug-free operation
Audits and hardening work can reduce risk and identify practical launch blockers, but they do not guarantee complete security, compliance, uptime, revenue, platform approval, bug-free operation, or absence of defects.
AI-assisted tooling and confidentiality
Business-grade AI coding and review tools may support analysis, drafting, review, or implementation. Secrets, production credentials, raw payment data, private customer records, regulated data, database dumps, and sensitive user-generated content should not be submitted to AI tools.
Service agreement controls actual engagement
The applicable service agreement or statement of work controls the actual engagement, including scope, deliverables, pricing, confidentiality, access handling, intellectual property, acceptance criteria, and any implementation work.
Pricing may vary
Pricing on the site is starting pricing and may vary by scope, complexity, urgency, repository size, stack, payment/data risk, and access requirements.
